  Less boot for more money.

Been wearing these for nearly a decade. This latest version has some serious downgrades. 1. No longer STEEL TOE 2. Cheaper, thinner lining. 3. No longer "Absorber" sole. 4. Plastic shank, no longer steel. One positive aspect is the wide ranger of widths and the roomy toe box. I'm glad I can get hard-to-find boots that fit and might understand the price increase to maintain the quality materials, but that's not the case.
