Being unfamiliar with this boot and its Exeter last, I defaulted to an old habit of going 1/2 size up and adding a width. This has been a fairly reliable equation when buying a dress shoe or boot. Not so this time. The Exeter last is very roomy. I wear a 10 - 4E in new balance and Hitchcocks Highland last work boot. I bought this in a 10.5 - 5E, and am now buying it again in a 9.5 - 6E. I hope this may help anyone with sizing questions. Sincerely, Kevin
